Marine Paints

Marine Paint is a specialized coating designed to protect marine vessels from the corrosive effects of saltwater, UV radiation, and marine fouling. Formulated with a combination of resins, pigments, additives, and suitable hardeners, marine paints undergo chemical reactions to form a durable and protective film that enhances the longevity and performance of ships, boats, and offshore structures.

Marine paints typically utilize epoxy, polyurethane, or alkyd resins as the primary binding agents. These resins provide adhesion, flexibility, and resistance to water and chemicals, forming the basis of the paint film.

Marine paints often require the addition of suitable hardeners to initiate cross-linking reactions with the resin components. Depending on the type of resin used, common hardeners include polyamines, polyisocyanates, or amino resins.
